- Built a Flask backend paired with an Expo React Native client, combining bcrypt-hashed password auth with MongoDB-backed user storage and Duo Security SMS one-time passcodes for a complete two-factor login flow
- My contribution: built the Expo client and login flow, implemented MongoDB-backed user registration, and wired up the Duo Security integration end-to-end for SMS delivery and OTP verification

AI-Powered Spam Detection
SMS spam classification system
- Preprocessed the SMS Spam Collection dataset (tokenization, stopword removal, stemming) and vectorized it with Bag-of-Words and TF-IDF, then benchmarked six models — Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, Linear SVM, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and KNN
- Linear SVM came out on top at 98.1% accuracy with the best precision/recall balance and was selected for final deployment; my contribution covered model validation and interpretation
